Badge Reels are so popular due to HID access control systems installed in many building around the world.

Badge Reel Definition

End fittings included - Vinyl strap, Bulldog Clip, Split Ring, or Card Clamp.
With a pull of the cord, the cord extends out to the access control reader then retracts. There are two grades of reels, premium grade that is made in the USA and Economy grade that is made overseas.

Economy Badge Reels
Economy Badge retractors are manufactured overseas and are the most popular badge reel on the market. These badge reels have been tested at 40,000 pulls and are long lasting. Most badge reels listed have a 36inch long cord and are perfect for those who have to extend their ID card to a access card reader.

Premium MiniBak Badge Reels
MiniBak Badge reels manufactured by Key-Bak are the best quality and longest lasting reel in the market. The Stainless spring is 8 inches longer than the economy reels, that makes for better pull.
