The church of Brethern is planning several responses to yesterday’s earthquake in Haiti.
Damage assessment teams have just begun their work, but it is already clear that damage and loss of life are quite high.
The Church of the Brethren coordinates its relief efforts with Church World Service, the service arm of the National Council of Churches USA. In fact, the Brethren Service Center in Maryland is the receiving point for contributions from most other mainline US denominations.
Over the next three Sundays, we invite your outreach donations toward Haiti Disaster Relief. Cash contributions will be used to create Hygiene Kits, or to support direct relief through the Church of the Brethren or Church World Service.
