Protect your pay pass credit card - TWIC card information

Secure Sleeve™ and Secure Badgeholder™ products create an RFID shield by blocking the electromagnetic energy necessary to power and communicate with contactless smart cards, passports, enhanced drivers licenses (EDLs), TWIC, PIV, CAC and transit cards. This is essential to total security because although most contactless smart card systems implement industry-standard security mechanisms, readers can be modified to access information without authorization.

Credit card readers can be easily purchased that will read the credit account number, expiration date, and even name off your new RFID enabled credit card. These readers can easily be concealed so that someone could walk through a crowd, ride on a subway, elevator, or other crowded area and steal nearby credit card information without the card holder ever knowing it happened.

TWIC Card Holders

TWIC card holders are gaining popularity since more people now have the government issued ID Cards.

Feedback from our customers is telling us that many agencies and companies that supply the TWIC card are not supplying the holders that protect the information. Security Imaging can help find the right holder for your card. We now stock over 5 different styles of holders that will protect all the information stored on your TWIC card or government issued ID.

Swivel Clip vs Alligator Clip - Badge Reels

At Security Imaging we sell all different styles of badge reels. Last year the swivel clip on our reels changed from a full bulldog clip to a half alligator clip.

Due to feed back from our customers we have now gone back to the bulldog clip because it grips clothing better. Swivel Hook Badge Reels are great for employees that don't have a pocket or belt loop to attach the badge reel to. The Swivel Bulldog clip can attach to dresses, suites, shirts etc. Simply pinch the clip to open and attach to clothing, once you release the clip it should grip your clothing.

We still have some stock of the alligator clip and will be selling that style until we run out and then we will update the sight to the full bulldog clip. If at anytime you want samples or prefer one over the other we should have both styles available.

Many colors of badge reels available.

ID Lanyards

Lanyards are Neck Cords that are worn around the neck. Lanyards come in many different widths, styles, and with assorted attachments. The most common lanyards are made of a nylon/polyester blend and are either round or flat. The popular widths for wearing your ID card are 3/8" or 3/4" Neck Cords.

Some Neck Cords have a built in safety feature and are called "Breakaway Lanyards." Breakaway Lanyards slip over the head. If the ID lanyard gets caught in machinery it has a plastic piece that "breaks" the lanyard so that you can remove it from your neck without having to pull it over your head. Once you use the feature you can always re-connect the breakaway parts and re-use the lanyard. The Breakaway feature is only for safety and should not be used on a daily basis for removing the lanyard.

Some ID Lanyards have something called a Quick Disconnect Buckle. This Buckle is located at the end of the lanyard and usually has a swivel hook, bulldog clip or key ring attached to it. Quick Disconnect Buckles allow you to remove your ID card by releasing the buckle. When you are ready to put your ID Card back on the lanyard, you insert the buckle to the plastic piece on the lanyard. This feature makes removing your ID badge easy, because you don't have to take the lanyard off in order to remove the badge.

We carry all styles and attachments for lanyards, if you have any questions we would be happy to help!
